Incident database of CO in schools

Carbon monoxide exposure in a school negatively impacts the life, health, and safety of children, adults, teachers, staff, and community members on the property. To date, this list of carbon monoxide includes over 250 incidents in US schools that were discovered via press reporting online. It includes public K-12, private and charter schools, commercial daycares, and college/university exposures that required emergency services due to on-site evacuation or injury. One day we hope to be able to stop updating it.

A Google Sheet of full listings may be provided upon request to journalists, public servants, or those looking to present the case of creating CO safe schools. If you prefer the full list, please reach out to info@carbonmonoxideinschools.org.
